Welcome

I'm so excited to welcome you and your family to

Tanna Marie Photography.

This welcome guide was designed to walk you through the experience of a professional, full-service portrait session and to introduce you to the exciting options Tanna Marie Photography has to offer.

The art of photography is much more than just producing pictures on paper. It is about capturing your story, memories, and emotions on camera. It is also for you to look at and share with friends and family over the years, and to cherish and hang the artwork on your wall for generations to come. In our busy lives, it is so important to take some time every now and then to capture the unique milestones in life.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is truly getting to know you and your family, so I can create portraits that reflect your families' personal story.

I absolutely love what I do. It's my passion and always has been. I love my job and pour every inch of hard work into shooting, editing, and producing a unique collection of beautiful images for you.

As you are scrolling through this welcome guide if you have any questions at all feel free to contact me.

It is an honor and a joy to meet so many families and I look forward to working with yours in the future.
Yours,

Tanna

WHAT TO EXPECT

BEFORE

This may be your family's first time working with a professional photographer. If so, let me reassure
you that I am here to work with you to make your experience as simple and memorable as possible.

This is your day to relax and enjoy the family; I'll take care of the rest!
I  schedule pre-session consultations in person but, can do skype or phone ones too. This gives me the opportunity to get to know you, your desires, and preferences
for your session and to get an idea of what type of artwork may suit your needs. I also like to discuss what to wear, location ideas, what to bring and a place and time to meet on the day of the session. I follow up again with a reminder email the week of the session to provide you with a checklist that will help you with the session.

DURING
On the day of your session, we'll meet at the agreed time and location and get the fun started!

I take a few test shots or even silly ones to get your little ones used to the camera and to feel relaxed, safe and comfortable around me as I usually play with them as well.
I encourage you and your children to interact, play and have fun during the session so I can capture
the natural bond between you and your family, plus we can get a few posed shots as well. I love the natural unposed moments as they show genuine smiles and laughter compared to posed photographs. Once the session has concluded we will set an appointment up for an in-person ordering session. The appointment will occur 2 weeks after the session

AFTER
Sit back and relax! I will be hard at work editing your images so they are perfectly presented to you.

Finally, we will meet again for your in-person ordering appointment where you'll have the opportunity to review the proofs and make final artwork selections. This truly is the most amazing part of the process. You will see your photos come to life in a choice of heirloom albums, cards, gallery wrapped canvases, and mounted prints in sizes perfect for your family's home. You will also be able to find web sized photos of your session on my Facebook page that you can tag and share with family and friends after the ordering session.
